Deal the dominoes picture side up. Children match a grapheme to a picture that they think contains that spelling, eg. a_e matches to the picture of a cake. The child should say 'cake', then spell cake, then turn over the cake domino where they will see the word, with the matching grapheme highlighted - so that they can instantly see if they are right!
